Hi everyone,

We have an IPS2000 with an AD64 connected via MCI.
Once in a while, someone's mailbox (virtual line) do not work anymore.Sometimes it goes back to the opening box.
Sometimes it does not ring at all and goes directly to the line's mailbox.
To make it work again I have to destroy the line and redo it (command 14 CCC).
Here is an example of my setting:

14>02028:2651- (main line)
E603>2651:2050- (Go to mailbox)
11>0007:3616- (Virtual line 1 and mailbox)
11>0058:3621- (Virtual line 2 and mailbox)
E600>3616:2651- (Forward virtual line 1 to main line)
E600>3621:2651- (Forward virtual line 2 to main line)

This is hapenning more and more every day.
I should also mention that an error is present in the port status monitor of my AD-64. Error 101-1,1--2,0.
I still do not know what it means.A tech told me it could be some problem with one of the greetings but I'm not sure.

This error might not be related but we never know.

Why are you forwarding the virtuals to the main line instead of voicemail? When dialing the main ext and it rolls over to the virtual then to vm the packet sent to the vm will state the main ext. If someone is dialing the virutal and not the main ext and then it fowards to vm and the virtual does not have mailbox it will go the main greeting. Try using E601 and E602 instead of E603.

E601>2651>3616
E601>3616>3621
E601>3621>2050

E602>2651>2050
E602>3616>2050
E602>3621>2050

This way the integration packet whether digital or MCI will tell the vm system that the message it for ext 2651 as long as the dialed number was 2651. This can be don eup to 5 fowards before the data packet sent to the vm system is lost.

If people are dialing the 3XXX numbers then you need to fo intothe voicemail system and build Transaction boxes stating that calls forwarded to voicemail when dialing thses exts go to mailbox 2651.

I'm forwarding the virtuals to the main ext because users are sharing the same line (2651).I want the phones with line 2651 to ring if someone call Nancy (3616) or John (3621).Nancy and John both have mailbox in the AD-64.
Users are not even aware of the main line.Like I was saying my programmation is working but for some reason after a while it stops working. If the main line is busy or not answering, it goes back to the opening greeting instead of going the the user's mailbox (3616 or 3621).

Keep in mind that I am not using theses as second lines.
The reason I am doing this is that users are changing local every 6 months and they want to keep their ext.If they move all I have to do is forward them to another main line. I can have up to 5 persons per line and they both have their own ext.
