something shut down dhcp; status "starting" not "started"

I have an XP pro machine that is pretty infected with spyware and maybe viruses. Has anyone seen the status of dhcp client, in services, go to starting instead of started? Thanks

I believe many of us did see a lot of things happening on a window machine.
But where is your point ?
Why dont you try to clean the pc from the viruses, instead of having these kind of queries?
