How can i see whats downloading in the background?
As I can see something is downloading in the background, sa I am doing nothing, and my DUmeter is showing some download in process.

So is there any application that let me see whats been downloading on my PC or there is other person hacking my PC.

From command line, netstat will show you the open connections.

Cheers,
Dian

I'm not sure if this will help but you can download Process Explorer free at:

If you are not running any AV or AS apps, I would recommend going to Grisoft's web site & download their free AV, AS and Anti-Rootkit at:

Be sure to check for updates before running these apps. Do a complete, in depth scan & follow the recommended actions. If nothing shows up there & you feel an app was installed without your permission, you can run Search -> Files & Folders -> When was it modified -> Specify dates -> change Modified date to Created date -> change the dates to cover a period when something you feel was downloaded -> Scroll down to type of file (if all files & folders yields a large diasplay, you may want to narrow it down by selecting Applications in the drop down menu). Be sure you've checked Search system, hidden & subfolders. Scan the results to see if you spot anything suspicious. You may want to cosider installing a Firewall.
Unfortunately, you didn't give any data on your OS or any symptoms it's having. More details gets better answers.

Active ports is another app to trace open ports. It's a free dowload at:

Be aware though that it also leaves you vulnerable when running it. Because of this, Symantec (& other AV/AS apps) classifies it as a high security risk (at least the free version, not sure if you pay the fee). Norton & all other AV & AS apps recommend me to delete it even after I stopped running the app but it may be handy on a 1 time run to check what's downloading.

You may also want to check out the following site:

It might help you to uninstall, stop or delete any unwanted apps.

Knowing which ports are open is good, but when faced with a similar problem I found the protocol analyzer from useful because by capturing a snapshot of the traffic I could see which ports were doing all the I/O and what the remote IP address was.

That enabled me to identify the app easily (Google desktop search indexing Gmail).

Thank you all

Sorry to response late,

Let me check all the above mentioned, and will get back with feedbacks on them.
