Someone said you can add text to blank areas of a .pdf. How? What i'm trying to do is take a flyer from my Home office (a direct sales compnamy of high quality itchen tools) and where they leave a place for us to fill in our name and phone number etc, i'd like to put it in electronically. They do not put it in as a form where i can just fill it in. They expect us to use a stamp on each paper i think. I have been able to add text to an already existing line, but i need to add name, phone and email on separate lines to have it fit in the space provided.

I have a very old Acrobat 4.0, full version.

I think that may have been me. It might not be possible to do what you want to do in V4, but in V5 of Acrobat, there is a Free Text Tool that allows you to add text to a PDF page.

actually, after posting this question i have had for literally years, i figured it out quite by accident. doesn't it figure? Like when you take the car to the shop and then it is fine? well, if you cntl and click together it opens a free text tool, for a single line. it just isn't on the tool bar or in a menu so it isn't easy to find.
