Some XP Users Take 3 - 5 Minutes To Logon

Hi all,

I have a few XP users that, for whatever reason take a good 3 - 5 minutes to logon to our 2003 AD domain. We don't use roaming profiles here, so i'm not sure what could be causing this. We do have login scripts that run once the user connects, but the logon session hangs for a few minutes before the login script runs.

Has anyone come across this issue?

try on with a static ip and see if that speeds up things, if not check eventlogs, network (dns,routing...), server ressources, antivirus/firewall settings
