I have a weird problem. I have a laptop and a desktop connecting to the internet with a linksys wireless G router/access point. Everything works fine on the laptop with a wireless card. The PC is connected directly to a port on the router. Both appear to be set up identically, but some things on the PC won't work. The email works fine, and IE works fine. Some (but not all) Instant messanger programs and Weatherbug do not connect to the internet. I am able to ping and tracerout without any errors. Any ideas? I have deleted the network card and reinstalled it and all network settings are set to auto detect. Thanks.

Is this a cable broadband?
Use the "clone" feature to enter the MAC address of your principle computer into the router, and then reset.
