Hi,

In AutoNumber: in New record will make the "maxNo+1" for any fields.
It's good but if you use escape to forget the current record you can not use that number again and will lost forever.
Is there any way to make (MaxDocNo+1) for any fields as default value when user want to make new record?

Thanks
Ali

I tried by other way,

I made one query named by "MaxofResid Anbar" to find Max Number of DocNo and then in the property of the textbox inform:

1) Control Source:[DocNo]
2) Default Value: =[MaxofResid Anbar]![MaxOfResid Anbar No]

But still not success to get value

Can you help by this way?

Thanks
Ali
