Alright now, I just got a new external harddrive. Finally I can back up all my data right? Wrong, over night while i was finally backing up all my data I woke up to a dead harddrive.
I was doing it off of my old computer and it didn't have the fast usb connection I guess because the tranfer of 120gigs was taking forever, 6 or 7 hours I think was the time left on it when I turned it off. Could the long transfer have caused this?
Anyways I ran get back data on it which has helped me out many times and has worked wonders. Well I doesn't work now. I click on the harddrive scan and it immediatly gets errors non-stop.
So I make an image of the harddrive and run the scan again. Nothing is found.
Any thoughts? This is really killing me becuase I finally get an external harddrive to back this stuff up and it ended up being the death of the data. I'm so depressed guys help me out.
Thanks sorry for long post.
