As the subject says "Some recipients in distribution list recieving 2 copies of a mail". The distribution list contains outside e-mail addresses and some recipients are recieving 2 copies of the mail sent and others are only getting the one copy as normal.
MS Outlook 2000 is the mail client and exchange 2000 the server.
What is causing this?? and how do I fix it??

Please help :)

If all of the ones getting two copies are at the same company it is probably a problem at their end, their server received OK but didn't tell yours that it did (or at least not fast enough) so Exchange resent as it should.

It's happened to me.

If different companies... Are there DL's within the DL (although Exchange should handle even that)?

Well I have found the prob and it was that some servers wern't recieving the mail within the alloted time period so exchange resent them the mail. Thanks for the input though.
