Some problems with Nortel Softphone 2050

Hi,

we would like the use Softphone 2050 - by now we are in a
test phase.

I have some problems with the quality. Every time I minimize an application, I get some strange sounds - like scratching...

In addition I can´t creat a local directory - I get an error message that the database driver can not be found...

Which driver I have to install to create a local directory?

Are you using the latest version - 2.0.254? The version 1 client is offically not supported on WinXP.

I`m using the softphone version - 2.00.0239

Hello ,

local directory issue , there is an entry in the odbc missing and you can manually add this under the "user dsn".

Driver should be :Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)
Name: MS Access Database.

if you add this , then your local directory should work !
