Some labels print then one barcode is skipped and printing continues

I am printing barcode labels. About 8 (out of 12) labels print then the next labels (#9) prints partially but the barcode is missing then the last 3 labels print fine. It seems like a buffer problem but I don't know how to clear the buffer to fix the problem. The more labels I request to print, the more that print with a barcode missing. Any suggestions?

What program are you using to print the barcodes?

It's just a guess, but I would check to see if there is some sort of setup option that might be causing you problems.

I am using Visual Basic 4.0 16-bit (yes, we're still working in the stone ages) to print the labels with ZPL II code. I agree there must be some setting such as a buffer or something that I'm missing. I just can't seem to find it in the documentation that I have. Any suggestions?
