HI,

A bit of an important one for me. When a CCA client shuts down it tries to save its details to the Server, it can't as it comes up with an error access denied.

Of course this looks like a rights issue (think there 2000pc's)

now, I cant find though I've been searching, does anyone have an idea of which folder/folders its trying to save to, so I can get the read/write access rights checked or opened up.

many thankxs

ooops forgot,
the personal address book section of CCA

cheers

Are the CCA server and the CCA Clients in the same domain or is there a trust set up?
If not the client will not be able to access the directory.

There is a shared directory on the server that holds the directory files, I think the share may be hidden.

HI eriuser,
thanks for the reply, however I managed to fix it. this is what it was.

The folder it was trying to save the file to was called something like

c:\program files\ericsson\cca3.0\clientdata

there was a share set up but the permissions was not set so though CCA could see it it could not read or write to it

it also needed a share called cca3dat$

cheers for the reply anyway
