Hi

I'm new to IIS - we have version 6.0
a new 3rd party software package has been loaded on - a new website created under web sites, called customertest.
today the application seemed to hang, and i did a iisreset /restart and it worked ok then !
it seemed to be talking about lack of memory - I notice there is application pools, which under properties we have recycle worker process (in minutes) checked at 1740 minutes.
under performance idle timeout checked to 20.
request queue limit set to 1000.
under helath pinging set to 30, rapid fail enabled set to 5.
under indentity set to predefined to network service.

the application (asp moving to asp.net) will be used by a lot of people at the same time (20/30 but this will grow), with a sql databasse in the background getting hammered quite about.

what advice is there for configuring my iis ?
or is it set ok ?
the failure may have been another devloper running some asp code which has just got stuck in a loop (it is only test so if that is the cause it wouldn't happen on live)

thanks in advance
rags
