solving the ae50001 error in arcserve 12

hello!
i try to back up from my data by arcserve 12.i have a sql2000 db and os is win2k but backup failed with ae50001 error code.i read the arcserve error code helping but cann't solve this problem.please help me for solving this problem.

this type of problem can be difficult to diagnose. Unless you are ready to do a lot of troubleshooting work on your end it is best to open an issue with CA support.

But if you want to do it yourself then check the back of the SQL DB Agent guide for the troubleshooting section for the details on how to set it into debug mode. Then reproduce the problem and check the agent and the SQL Server logs.
