SOLVER and MACRO

I've this problem. I need to run the SOLVER function clicking a button in an excel spreadsheet. The problem is that the spreadsheet already works with a iterative macro. When I launch the solver the remaining part of the macro is not runned, therefore the solution is not the optimal one. Does anybody know how to make the solver subroutine interact with the remaining part of the macro?
