Hi,

Our company currently has a dedicated webserver providing data and information to specified Clients via the web. One of our clients would like to limit which users, from their intranet, can view and access this information on our webserver.

What I am not sure about is whether this is a security issue for our Client to sort out internally (e.g. do they limit use for users via Internet Explorer?) or whether there is a solution we can offer them from our end (VPN, leased line?).

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Many thanks.

You'll want them to configure thier router to only allow traffic from specific people to your IP address. This way when the list of thier people changes that can view your data you don't have to make any changes. They can make all the changes at thier end, and they don't have to wait for you to get the request, process the request, and confirm with them that it's working correctly.
