Solution for R6 with Ericsson R380e smartphone?

Since we use R6, I cannot synchronize with my R380e smartphone. Sony/Ericsson have told me they will not support R6 for the R380.
Anyone knows a alternative way (i can use a R5 pc for the time being for synchronizing, but I do not mean such alternative)?
