4.0 is quite out of date version 5 is released, all features are in sales guides what do you want to know about different functions? It is installed and it works on each feature as they are configured and licensed - i do not understand what you are asking about Solidus can you be clear about your question?
Sorry parnum my mistake it is version 5, mu question is really I have checked the sales guide. It really appears to be a more powerful version of CCM with IP features & greater functionality all part of the Ericsson convergence communications system. But I do feel that it is ulimately for contact center agents and the benefits for a small acd set up would be minimal other than generating business for a sales guy. Just looking to see if anyone had some opinions on this
CCM is no longer supported so ultimately ACD functionality will converge to Solidus (I believe there will be a Lite version). Offcourse Solidus is targeted at contact centers but for smaller customers there are also advantages:
ERP/CRM integration, better reporting, IVR functionality, any extension can be an agent, etc...
Ultimately, it all depends what you really need;
if you are happy with your current ACD/CCM setup and really have no extra needs, keep it that way...
