Solidus Upgrade

Does anybody know what is the best way to upgrade an existing SOlidus 7.0 customer to 8.2? Can it be done straightaway or do we need to first upgarde it to 8.0 and then to 8.1 and finally to 8.2

Upgrade paths for each stage are in the release notes for each service pack version.

You need to read these as there may be specific tasks relating to your install that need to be done before you hit the 'start' button at each stage, or it may fail or you lose data.

your upgrade path:

SEC7 -> SEC7 latest SP -> 8.0 -> 8.1 -> 8.2
OAS7 -> latest SP -> 8.2

make sure you make backups before you begin!

That is true, but then you find if you don't read the release notes you have missed off pre-requisite 3rd party sw at v8, and if you dont have it and if you have no Internet connection... End of upgrade process...

Always read the notes before doing any upgrade and all your answers are there
