Solaris SMC server is not starting on solaris 9

I am having issues starting the SMC server on solaris 9. It was working fine till I applied some patches. Since then it is not running. Can anyone help me with what things I need to check and where should I check them.

Any messages in /var/adm/messages or when trying to run it relating to this?

Try doing /etc/init.d/wbem stop
Then /etc/init.d/wbem start
Then see if it comes up.
