IS-IT--Management
Hello,
I'm stumped by a problem a server of ours is giving us. This is a solaris 2.7 box and the problem I have is that the routing seems to be holding onto long forgotten routes.
I am trying to establish a connection to another solaris machine, they are both checkpoint firewalls and the one I need to connect to is a management server. When I try to contact server #2 I can not reach it but when I do a trace route I find the routing is not going through my planned path.
Does solaris retain old routes in a cache somewhere? If so, is there a way to clear out the old information?
Thanks!
John
