Solaris v2.8 - Legato Networker v6.0, trying to troubleshoot a "Cannot Access Media Database" error on an old backup server. The error comes up whenever I try and inventory the tape drive. I haven't much experience with Networker troubleshooting, so any help as to particular files to examine/look for would be helpful. So much for the more robust database design.

NetWorker V6.0 came out about 2 years ago. You should seriously consider upgradig yourr backup server and any storage nodes to V6.1.3

Cannot access media database could be a sign that the media database was corrupted. This could happen for a number of reasons; for example, if NetWorker was not properly shut down.

To see if it is a db corruption, check your daemon.log to see if there are any errors during NetWorker startup.
