I am trying to install Sun Solaris 8 on the intel architecture. I have done this before without any problems, however... This time I am setting it up on a Compaq Proliant ML 370 server with a Smart Array 431 RAID Controller card. I configured the RAID controller for RAID 5. When I start the Solaris installation I add the compaq driver for the RAID card. It gets stuck just after loading the CDE (Common Desktop Environment) with a message that setup was unable to find a suitable drive for Solaris Software Installation. If any one out there has any ideas I would appreciate the help. Thanx. :)

I also got same problem with compaq server.
I suspected the compaq server didn't have raid driver for Solaris Intel.Any Compaq Technical Support can help about this problem?
