I have purchased a sparc station 5 with RAM96 and Hard drive 5 something MB, now for loading solaris 8 at least 2GB is required, is it possible to replace hard drive to install solaris 8. Can hard drive be replaced???

Yes, hard drives are readily replaceable in sparcs, buy a cheap sca scsi 4 gigger off of ebay for a few bucks and just plug it in. Not sure what size you are trying to tell us that the sparc has, but the 5's came with mostly 800-1 gig drives IIRC.

I have 80pin SCA SCSI, how do I install 50 or 68pin 4GIG hard drive??? Rightnow I have 500MB hard drive.

adapters will work, but it is cheaper just to buy 4 gig sca disks (10$..if that much even) off of ebay.
