Hi,

I have a quick question about trying to use an USB device on a SunFire V215 running Solaris 9 in Single user mode with disk version (09/05). We are currently looking to be able to do level 0 dumps on the server for all our slices. The two slots internal to the server are allocated for a fiber nic and video card. Before I go out and buy anything for this server I was wondering if it’s possible to boot in single user mode and write to either a USB hard drive or USB tape device.

Thank you for any help you can provide with this.
