Helo everybody,

i modified the following file on me solaris 9 x86 machine
and i'am search now "ldconfig" to update the new command in ld.so.conf

/etc/ > cat ld.so.conf
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib/

/etc/ > find / -name ldconfig
nothing found

please, how i can update this modification ?

thanks in advance
best regards
Maurizio

I always set the path manually either by hand or in the startup scripts. Solaris does not have a /etc/ld.so.conf as far as I know, instead you might want to look into /var/ld/ld.config, /var/ld/64/ld.conf. I got this info from man ld.so.1
