Does anyone know how to change password restrictions on Solaris 9? I do not see any way to do it through the SMC.

Thanks,

Nick

Netman4u,
Can you please be specific whether you want to change passwd length restriction or passwd aging restriction? For both the cases the answer lies with /etc/default/passwd file.

There is also the file /etc/default/login and some useful information can be found with man login and man passwd.

I hope that helps.

Mike
