When doing a df -k it shows a drive slice at 25% but there are not any real big Files. Most other system that have alot more customers are and stock only run at 7-10 % I do not find any core dumps How do a find a blown up file?

Hi
must likely there is a bad inode somewhere
I recommend to do an fsck on your partition to fix your problem.
If the partition is the one used from /, you may need to start using cdrom, then mount the disk and perform an fsck
Cheers

The other reason would be a file that is open from a process but is now unlinked (rm-ed). The space will not be recovered until the link count goes to 0, the process closing the file or exiting.

I believe an lsof listing is the easiest way to find big unlinked files.
