Hi, everybody,
I installed Gnome and Xfce on my workstation, but when I try to start a Gnome or a Xfce session from dtlogin, the system just freezes there for some time and it returns to the login screen.
The output in startlog is
/usr/dt/bin/ttsession[1772]: starting
/usr/dt/bin/Xsession[748]: 1763 Hangup
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
I cannot login to Gnome regardless of what account I use and it is the same with Xfce.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
