I'm in the process of installing Oracle 8.1.7 on Solaris 8. I found several sources of detailed installation notes but none of them provide any information on any required or recommended patches for Solaris 8 in preparation for the Oracle install. I thought perhaps someone from the trenches who has done this type of installation might know. Thanks for any help you can provide.
