Hi folks

I recently tried to install Solaris 8 (intel) on my PC
I have AMD 600 Duron, with AZZA motherboard (via chipset)

Everything goes fine untill i get the screen which asks to
choose the drive where I want to boot from

I select CD drive and press F2, it asks for 1-interactive, or 2-custome installation, I choose 1, then it reads for few seconds and reboots my machine

I have even tried with other intel machines as well and got same problem.
Please advice me what is wrong and what should i do

thanks

Jahangir

I think that Solaris can not recognize your HD. The way to fix it is to boot from the Software-1 disk, which will reconfigure additional drivers for Intel box and then after it is done boot from the installation disk media.
This should solve your problem.
