I am trying to install Solaris 8 on KMD-K6 200 from the CDROM. I boot from the CD and get this messages before I am prompted to "select a language:"

/usr/sbin/sysidnet:fatal:relocation error: file /usr/lib/libgen.so.1:symbol_mutex_look:reference symbol not found

After this error message I select the language I want and get another error message:

/usr/sbin/sysidsys: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/sbin/sysiddtty:symbol getcury: reference symbol not found

Then sometimes the system hands or gives a "no dump device configured" message and reboots.

Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks, I appreciate it
