Solaris 8 install sparc20

added a new disk to sparc20 (out of box new)& when I try to start of server with Solaris 8 cd for new OS install nothing happens...Am I missing something here? I thought the cdrom would go through the install and help me lay out the disk & OS

From the EPROM (OK) prompt run "probe-scsi"
The CDROM must be device 6 for it to be bootable.
Then boot cdrom should work.

Found that the video card was part of the issue. I hooked a null cable from a laptop to sieral port. At this point I could see it booting which pointed me back to SUN & I need an old sbus frame buffer card. Almost all of the 8bit color frame buffer cards work in the sparc20. At least I can get going via another route until I find a older card. Thanks
