solaris 8 and latest 8_Recommended patch cluster

Host: F6800
O/S : Solaris 8

Have Solaris Resource manager (SRM) installed.

After installing the latest 8_Recommended patches I am getting this messages every 30-45 seconds.

in.ftpd[11223]: [ID 825731 daemon.error] dlsym failed
pam_sm_close_session: error ld.so.1: in.ftpd: fatal:
pam_sm_close_session can't find symbol


I have traced the problem toward patch # 108993.
I have two other system (V880) that I installed the same patches (they were at the same patch level as the F6800)
AND no messages about dlsym was received. Also the V880 aren't running SRM.


HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS PROBLEM?

Hi,
haven't seen this, but there is a reported problem with kernel patch 108528-27 and ge, you have to install 108813-16 before.
