solaris 8 32-bit and 64 bit

Hi all,

I have Solaris 8 (sparc) on Sunfire v880 (64-bit). Can I run 32-bit program on 64-bit machine? Or does it really matter at all?

contains application for solaris 8 sparc. Is this app 64-bit or 32-bit?

Usually 32 bits apps are supported. In doubt you can always download the source from sunnfreeware instead of the binaries and recompile. Too bad I.T. is not cash business
