Solaris 8 2/02 installer request. Needs OS to run on v480

Hello everyone,

I need a running Oracle 8i on a Sun Fire v480. But first i would need the installer for Solaris 8. I have recently bought the installation CD for Solaris 8 6/00. Apparently this version is older than 2/02 as it could not be installed on the machine. I am also not sure whether Oracle 8i could be run on Solaris 9. Please advise.

Mzaimz- Oracle 8i will run on Solaris 9. I have Dimensions7_2 with Oracle 8i run on Sunfire 480 without any problem.
