I have just removed Sun Cluster 3.1 and Veritas Volume Manager 3.2 in preparation for an installation of Veritas Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC.

I have installed the Storage Foundation components and have not configured anything.

Patch 108993-31 had just been applied.

On reboot I get this message:

The system is coming up. Please wait.

Then the system hangs.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

congratulations! ;-)

boot from cdrom, change vfstab to boot from physical devices (not Veritas Volumes)

if the system boots check of Veritas starts and check the status of the Volumes (vxprint -ht)

I think such a system is under Sun contract -> open a call!
