Good People,

I am trying to install solaris 2.7 on intel machine thru bootable disk. it builds the driver list fine, but after that it says 'loading driver com.bef' and then errors out saying 'no bootable device found'. could someone please tell me what is the problem?
thanks
Manu

hai,
the problem might be with booter diskette itself sthat might have been having corrupted data on that related to the bootable files or the boot.* file or can be with the floppy drive or its cable, what i mean to say is h/w problem
else try with another booter made out of the same os and taking the boot image from the os installation os.else u can get a free download for the booter from the sun site.
else if u can specify the proper config spec of ur hardware
that u r using then we can analyse things with beauty.
bye * good luck

makir.
