Running Solaris 11.1 on a T1 (Sunfire T2000, 32 GB). No patches. Have six zones. All running fine. Attempts to run zonestat (zonestat 5 1) in global zone from root account yield the following message:
zonestat: Error: Zones monitoring:default" not enabled or responding.
svcs -l zones-monitoring shows all dependencies are online
The logfile shows the following:
Assertion failed: cpuid < ctl->zsctl_maxcpuid, file zonestatd.c, line 1364
[ Jul 21 10:38:41 Stopping because process dumped core. ]
[ Jul 21 10:38:41 Executing stop method ("/lib/svc/method/svc-zonestat stop 707"). ]
[ Jul 21 10:38:42 Method "stop" exited with status 0. ]
[ Jul 21 10:38:42 Executing start method ("/usr/lib/zones/zonestatd"). ]
[ Jul 21 10:38:42 Method "start" exited with status 0. ]
I'm rather new with Solaris. Any advice? Freely available patches ...
