Hi,

I'm trying to install Solaris on my Win-XP laptop, by using "VirtualBox" (a VmWare like).

I have an ISO file that contains the installation DVD.

The installation is starting good, but after a few minutes I see "Completing system identification..." message, and then it looks like it's working ... for hours.

What can I do?
Is VmWare better for this purpose?

Thanks in advance!

I can't speak for VirtualBox, however I'm running it occasionally under the freely available VMware Server with no problems.

Annihilannic.

Thanks!

I'm now using VMware. It is much better, and it's working indeed.
