Hello

I'll be performing maintenance on a few Solaris servers.
As a Solaris systems comes up from a boot, this can take some time, EMC SAN disks are attached and this probe can take a bit of time.

I'm sure there's a config (flat ascii file) file somewhere that allows you to turn off the EMC disk "probe" at boot.....
i can vaguely remember a variable in the config file .....AUTO_BITMAP=0

Can you remind me what the file is please?

Thanks

found it...
fclp.conf .... of course
