Solaris 10 - where is zfs?

I'm confused. I downloaded Solaris 10 x86 so I could play with zfs in a virtual machine. I have it installed and running, but zfs doesn't seem to be installed.

So I figured it was only available in OpenSolaris for the time being, and that I'd wait until it was added to Solaris 10 rather than waiting for another few GB to download.

But now Sun are promoting it to me as part of Solaris 10? What have I missed? Is it in the latest, greatest release? Does anyone know whether I can just download zfs packages to install on this release?

The CD images I have are called sol-10-u1-ga-x86-v1-iso.zip, v2, v3, and v4.

Any pointers appreciated.

/etc/release says "Solaris 10 1/06 s10x_u1wos_19a X86".

You can only get zfs in OpenSolaris currently. And when you install OpenSolaris it is versioned Solaris 5.11.

I installed it on a spare Sun Blade 150 at my last job and connected a spare S1 array to it (though the 150 doesn't have 66 MHz pci slots I wasn't concerned with perf just wanted to test).

After I posted I read the link. Looks like Solaris 10 6/06.

I liked my tests with zfs. Promising file system.
