Hi,

I think this must be a permission issue, but can't find anywhere which says what is required.

I have printer setup and working on sol10 server 'server1'
I want to setup printer on sol10 'server2' to use this printer

I use command:
lpadmin -p printer1 -s printer1!server1

When I do:
lpstat -t

scheduler is running
no system default destination
system for printer1: server1 (as lpd://server1/printers/printer1#Solaris)
printer1 accepting requests since 13 April 2011 11:37:35 BST
Failed to get printer info for printer1: not-found
Failed to get job list: bad-argument

If the print server is a sol7 machine (which i am trying to get offline), my sol10 server can connect and print as required.

Any suggestions welcome...
