solaris 10 hard drive under ultra5 1

so i have an ultra 5 with solaris 10.. added another 4.2 disk and it shows up fine when i do probe-ide at obp... when i boot the machine and do format.. it doesnt show up.. what gives

maybe try to do a 'devfsadm' to get it to see the drive?
