Hello. I'm new to Solaris 10 for a Sun x4100 Sunfire server with two dual-core AMD processors.

On our Linux servers, I have network bonding set up for two network cards, so if one card fails, the other automatically takes over and keeps the machine live.

Does anyone know where I can find information on setting up such bonding in Solaris 10? Sun may call it Trunking, I'm not sure.

Thanks.

afaik you must buy Sun Trunking Software

You actually might be referring to Multipathing. Trunking is when you combine several NICs into one pipe. Multipathing is free and started shipping with Solaris 8.
