Please could someone help me.

I have ordered a number of new nortel 450 switches which i need to use to increase the number of switches in a number of my exisitng stacks. The problem is they have come with version 4 of code.

My question is can i upgrade my stacks shown above with the new code v4 and if so will it be compatable with the Buisness policy switches version of code. Or will i have to upgrade this as well.

Both the 3.1 code to move back and the 4.1 code to get current are there

I confess if everything works for you, why not make the new 450's 3.1? I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

does that mean i can upgrade all the 450 to version 4 and leave the BPS on version 1.

I doubt that, but I do not have any 'public' links to the BPS2000 version 2 code. (the 450 is upto 4.2 now)

you could go to 2.0.5 and 4.2 if you have a Nortel Contract to get those updates.

on the other hand, if your current stack works for you, why not make the new 450's version 3.1? I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
