Not that I really know of. MS Word creates horrible HTML source code. So even if you were to use MS Word to create the web pages, the HTML would be pretty bad.

Of couurse, you can upload DOC files to an internet website & have people view them that way.

Based on an old email I read last night (the last link below), converting the docs to Adobe Acrobat PDF files before uploading them would prevent potential security problems that Word docs can pose if you aren't careful. Besides that reason for PDF, I wonder if PDF files would also be easier to manipulate when you are building your Web site.

Because I convert all of my docs to PDF files using Adobe's Acrobat Professional, I wondered if I could build my first Web site (this weekend!) with that software; but, I got lost on Adobe's user-to-user forum site, and I chose instead to use FrontPage and to seek Tek-Tips members' help, because I hope FrontPage will be a faster Web-building/learning process--I have an April 30th deadline for a school project.

However, in searching for the link for the security info for you, I ran across this comment by a Woody's Lounge member as to software for Web building that will give you some other options. As for me, FrontPage is my choice due to my deadline.

The e-mail publication was "12 September 2003 Vol 4 No 15." The search-page link for finding it at the Woody's Office for Mere Mortals site (I didn't think it appropriate to paste his words here), is
If you search for the keyword "adobe," you'll probably see it in the results list. I apologize that I don't have time to find the direct link to it--I'm on dial-up and have the project deadline too! :) Best regards to you.

Thanks to all Tek-Tips members for your help in teaching me FrontPage.
