We currently use Optivity to collect CDR records and I am about ready to throw it out the window. Optivity uses an Access database to store records. My problem is when the database gets to just over 1 gig in size Optivity says the database is corrupt. I then have to purge and compact the DB. I know I could use a program like HyperAccess to receive the raw CDR records but I was hoping someone would know of another product that could collect the CDRs from the phone switch, process them, and put them into an SQL, or another robust, database.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Tons of companies offer Call Accounting packages. My favorite was from Vermark (All web based) but if you do a search under call accounting you will see tons of low and high cost options.

The OTM guys at eTEL Technologies market an 'OTM Extention' that is specifically for the OTM billing product's capacity issues. I believe that their SQL product can either replace or act as a storage bank for data costed from OTM billing, allowing you to run reports from the SQL product's interface (Web option too).
They're usually very economical.
