Software Runs but Disappears

Can anyone help i'm running a program to setup my network cards to use with adsl connection,except everytime i run the program it disappears of the screen.
when i check the task manager it is still running but i cannot see it!

It may have the screen coordinates set beyond your present screen size. It may not help, but try running your video at higher resolution, if it does turn up move it towards the left hand side of the screen before closing it and resetting the video resolution.

If this doesn't work you will have to find out where it stores the coordinates and change them manually. The best bet is in an ini file in the winnt subdirectory.

I would check to see if this is a DOS based application, if so the solution above has no bearing. I would try to open a DOS window, and go to the location of the program and run it from there. If it is a NIC program it is most likly DOS based. In NT you can get a DOS window by typing CMD in the Start/RUN menu. once there use that old Command line navigation and find the executable for the program.... type it in and see where it takes you.
