Does anyone know how normal 32-bit software restricts itself by not be runnable on Windows Terminal Services?

The Error is like " This software is not licensed under Windows Terminal Server".

I know this is often a license issue, but I really want to know.

Any Idea?

The software package is reading the windows registry and realizing that you're running it on a server which has been converted to Terminal Services - Application mode. There is a reason they did this and it probably means they sell a version that will run under Terminal Services. The best option is to purchase the version that is designed to run under Terminal Services.

If you were to try to run it on a server that was only in Remote Administration mode, it would probably work. However you would be limited to 2 remote sessions, plus the console.
